WEBS v1.0 - United States Air Force – WarFighter’s Edge
This project is a 3-Tier design, utilizing an automated PowerPoint client UI for displaying mission critical briefings and .NET 2.0 Windows UIs for manipulating user/application specific data. The system analysis, design and development utilized an Agile process and was implemented as an n-tier, SOA application utilizing Microsoft .NET 2.0/3.0 and WCF/MSMQ. The data layer was built against SQL Server 2005 leveraging ADO .NET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. Most of the application logic was coded using VB.NET 2.0. This project was selected as the best research & development project in the Air Force for 2007

AANT v1.0 - United States Air Force – WarFighter’s Edge
This project consisted of the re-write of a plug-in for the JMPS system to PFPS. The solution was comprised of a Java-based web service and a C# .NET plug-in for the FalconView application that is delivered with PFPS. The system, as delivered, provides mission planners with the ability to search for aeronautical advisories and display those results in both a textual or graphical fashion. developersDen worked as part of a larger development team to complete this project. In addition we took on the role of project owner, which involved a significant amount of interaction with the end-user from a requirements gathering and specification standpoint.

WEdge Network - United States Air Force – WarFighter’s Edge
This project consisted of the installation and configuration of a complete network infrastructure in support of the WarFighter’s Edge Team. The hardware consisted of redundant Dell Servers with an iSCSI SAN. Software systems included Windows Server 2008 w/Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SharePoint Server, Microsoft ISA Server, Microsoft Office Communications Server and Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

Project tasks included:
Hardware/Software requirements analysis
Hardware/Software recommendation/selection
Installation/Configuration of servers, client workstations, and all related network infrastructure
Installation and configuration of all software systems for both client and server applications



Server Security Analysis - United States Air Force – IITA
This project consisted of the security assessment and vulnerability mitigation for numerous Microsoft Servers, located at the USAF Academy. The work involved utilizing both Retina and DISA Gold to scan the identified servers and then applying AF STIG procedures to ensure that, when the task was complete, all servers were compliant with all AF Security requirements.

Project tasks included:
Scan servers with Retina and DISA Gold
Evaluate scan results and apply mitigation procedures where appropriate
Ensure that all systems were operational after mitigations were applied
