ASP.NET 2.0 Internals
While 100 percent
backward compatible with ASP.NET 1.1, ASP.NET 2.0
brings a number of internal changes to ASP.NET.
These include changes to the code model,
compilation, page lifecycle, and more. This article
outlines those changes.

.NET Developer Training
 |
One of
the more challenging tasks facing IT
professionals today is properly planning
for the training needs of software
developers. Back in the “Good Old
Days”, the list of available training
classes was limited and decisions fairly
simple. With the advent of .NET, the
playing field has been altered
dramatically. Every week, I receive
numerous requests concerning how to
design a successful training plan that
is cost effective. Our approach to
designing training roadmaps is to base
our recommendations on two endpoints:
“Where are you at now?” and “Where do
you want to go?” While this may at
first seem to be a simplistic approach,
in our experience it is the failure to
consider these two key questions that
often result in a training plan that is
both ineffectual and costly. If you are
struggling with how to design an
effective plan for yourself or your
organization, please contact us today
